Friending "policy"


I friend people based on whether or not I find their LJ entries interesting, not whether or not I like them. It's entirely possible that I might like you, but not want your memes cluttering my friends page. It's also possible that you simply post much too often, which can dominate my friends page. If that's the case, I'll generally just swing by and read your LJ on my own when I have the time, especially if I otherwise find it interesting. So if you've friended me, and I haven't friended you, or I've dropped you, it isn't necessarily because I don't like you. It's also not because I want to post things you can't see. I almost never screen my post to friends-only, so you're not missing out on anything.

However, if you really do find this somehow offensive and feel obligated to defriend me in some bizarre imagined punishment for slighting you, I hope you'll understand if I don't give a rat's ass.

I'm told I have a bucket of win. I'm so proud.

Actually, this is the most my blog has been worth. Most recently, it was worth 2200 and change. Obviously this is a highly dynamic value. :P
